Admissions

Joining the Real Care family.

Choosing care for someone you love is a big decision. We keep the process simple and personal, and we're happy to answer questions at any step.

How it works

  1. Call or request a tour.

Tell us a little about your loved one and what you're looking for.

  2. Visit the home.

Meet our team, see the home, and ask anything. Tours are by appointment.

  3. Assessment.

We'll talk through care needs together. Florida requires a health assessment (AHCA Form 1823) completed by a physician or nurse practitioner within 30 days before move-in. We'll help coordinate it.

  4. Agreement.

We review the Care Services Agreement together so the services and costs are clear before anything is signed. Documents can be signed on paper or electronically through our secure portal.

  5. Move-in day.

We'll help your loved one settle in, and we'll keep you updated as they adjust.

Who we serve

Adults who need help with daily activities, 24-hour supervision, or memory care, and who can be safely cared for in a home setting. We're glad to talk through whether Real Care is the right fit. Short-term stays are considered case by case when space allows.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Our monthly rate covers room and board, meals, housekeeping, laundry, supervision, and the personal care services agreed in your Care Services Agreement. Because every resident's needs are different, pricing is set case by case. We'll give you clear, written pricing during your tour.
Is there a move-in fee?
Yes. A one-time move-in fee applies and is spelled out in the Care Services Agreement before you sign.
How is care paid for?
Real Care is a private-pay home. We'll walk you through payment options during your visit.
Can my loved one keep their own doctor?
Yes. Residents keep their own physicians and pharmacy. We coordinate appointments and communication.
What if care needs change?
We review each resident's care regularly. If a resident ever needs more care than a family care home can provide, we give at least 30 days' notice and help the family plan the transition, except in emergencies.
Can we visit?
Yes. Visiting hours are 1:00–4:00 PM daily, and outings and overnight visits with family are encouraged with advance notice.
Is Real Care licensed?
Yes. Real Care is licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, License #6907000, and inspected regularly.
